In Week 1 of Term 3, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The silly goat gruff.  It was about three goats that want to go over the bridge but there is a mean troll.

 I chose to create my very own creature, critter, monster or troll. ,something unexpected that the troll could live under and Create a wanted poster for the Troll, here is my work.

We are learning to advertise ourselves positively online by sharing on our blog. For this task we will be creating a poster about ourselves and the different things that are most important to us .

Dear Mrs C.

In Week 8, Term 2  our school librarian, Mrs C, retired. On her last day, we put on a  Book Character Parade. We dressed up in costumes like book characters and then we went on a parade through the Daycare Centre next to the school, past the shops in the village, along Hobson St and back upTennyson St to the school. 

 I chose to dress up as... DOG MAN it was epic !

Matariki Day

 On Matariki day / Friday 

The day began with me sleeping and my mum woke me up and I got dressed. I went up to the shed and had breakfast. After that I packed my bag with some home made choc slice and an apple.  I played bey blades with my brother. I won like always :) and when I went to school I baked cookies with miss B. I made 1 cookie but I got to take 3 home. They tasted delicious and after school I gave my mum a whole cookie because she deserves it and a piece to my brother and sister. I had the rest. I also made a paper star box. It was so frustrating 

>:( but it was worth it. When I finished my cookie I went to morning tea and my food was delicious.

After morning tea I went to tech and made some noise hahahahha. It was fun and after that I had lunch, a hot choc with marshmallows. Mmmmmm delicious. Then I went back to tech and made music. I
had a great day.

Matariki Activity - Sound lab

Today I played around with Music Lab and here is my work ;).  I liked that you could choose what you wanted to do based on music.  It was fun could you could choose different things.  It was easy to make and share.

In Week 8,  Miss Fletcher gave us a science lesson about Matariki.
